CampusMBA, the education arm of the Mortgage Bankers Association, will host a free, members-only webinar this Thursday, February 14, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. ET to provide an overview of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s new final mortgage servicing rules.
The webinar, National Servicing Standards/Compliance Readiness: an MBA Members-Only Call, will explore key provisions of the final rule so that servicers may begin adjusting their practices and procedures in anticipation of the January 10, 2014 effective date.
These extensive rules (http://www.consumerfinance.gov/regulations/2013-real-estate-settlement-procedures-act-regulation-x-and-truth-in-lending-act-regulation-z-mortgage-servicing-final-rules/) not only implement the Dodd-Frank Act, but add a variety of new Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (Reg. X) and Truth in Lending Act (Reg. Z) provisions that are far-reaching for both performing and delinquent servicing.
The call will feature key MBA staff experts and discuss key provisions of the rule and its impact. Time will be set aside for live Q&A.
Who should participate?
